ABOUT
THE BOOK:
The author, Ameedah Diaab Abdullah, shares her experiences of faith
and healing as a recovering mental health consumer. She continually strives to fulfill the meaning of her name, "one
who gives support and perseveres as a servant of God." (Paperback 59) pages.
BOOK REVIEW: This work of Ameedah Abdullah is a mercy, a blessing, and truly an inspiration to me in the work of helping people
rediscover their human value. More significant is its value to many others who have allowed their hardships and infirmities
to be a curse to them rather than an inspiration to serve. That she has made the effort to put her work based on her physical
challenges forth as inspirational service to the world rather than as a blight and a shame to the world is a powerful message
to all people that whatever the Creator has given to mankind as our challenge is our gift to be used to uplift the spirits
of others to see their own powers, though different. It drives home the salient point that every life is by purpose and not
an accident. We each have been put on this earth to serve and not to be bystanders. The gift of poetry which Ameedah has so
artfully used to express her message is both timely and necessary. I look forward to getting my copy of her writing and to
buying and reading many more of her works. May the Creator bless and evolve the magnitude of her works. Welcome to the world
of Human Rediscovery.
